Bagworms

Bagworms have increased in population in the Carolina's over the past several years. Though they are an unsightly nuisance and can cause serious damage to arborvitae, juniper and other trees and shrubs, they can be effectively controlled. The easiest cultural method is to remove the bags if only a few are present. A properly timed spray can usually take care of bagworms for the season.
